My passion for jewelry started at a very young age (pre-school) with my first necklace that became referred to as my “Wilma” beads. My love for jewelry was fueled by gifts from my grandfather. He would buy my grandmother a ruby ring, then a little smaller one for my mother and then even a little more smaller one for the three granddaughters.
I graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Management with minors in Economics, Social/Personal Psychology, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Then I graduated from Pepperdine University with an MBA. I worked in a Fortune 100 company for 29 years. I had helped my friends with their engagement rings, wedding bands, anniversary bands etc. When I turned 50, I decided it is now or never. That is when Chi Lin Gems was born out of my Love for all things sparkly and shiny.
I enjoy being a small part of the important milestones in people’s lives: Weddings, Birthdays, Babies, Anniversaries, Graduations etc. My motto is Spreading Joy by Sharing Gems, One Gem at a Time.
